OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

COQUITLAM, BC

PROJECT OVERVIEW

For Coquitlam couple Jen and Steve Pulman, comfort, practicality, functional spaces and a place to put everything was a top priority, but their existing 90’s-built home was not cutting it. They chose to work with Canadian Renovations to renovate a large portion of their main and upper levels, including the dated kitchen and bathrooms, flooring, all paint and mouldings, and fireplaces. By working alongside them and understanding their needs we were able to bring their home into the design and living standards of today.

They had faced a few leaks in the past, so one of our main challenges was to replace the polybutylene plumbing infrastructure and update to today’s standards. We needed to remove flooring and sections of walls just to access the old water lines. With a brand new plumbing system in place, we were then able to tackle the renovation head on.

We renovated old dated bathrooms (salmon pink was trendy in 1991!), remodelled the entire kitchen to make it an amazing space for cooking and entertaining and gave them a beautiful, functional new space to live in and enjoy for many years to come. This was a big project, and we’re very proud of the final results.
