CONTEMPORARY CONDO KITCHEN WITH RETRO-CHIC FLAIR

VANCOUVER, BC

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The owners of this late 70’s condo knew it was time to give their kitchen the renovation it deserved and called on Canadian Renovations to make their vision come to light. They wanted to contemporary space that offered all the bells and whistles of a modern kitchen, but with a slight 70’s retro-chic aesthetic to it.

We worked through the process with them to ensure all steps would be taken. One of the bigger challenges was enabling them to continue living in the space while we renovated it, but with some clever hacks we made it work, and kept it as painless as possible! Collectively we decided to go with sleek, dark bluish-grey painted slab cabinets, with a contrasting bank of white cabinets, quartz counters, high-end appliances and the piece de resistance – the amazing backsplash that adds texture and a pop of colour!

The couple is overjoyed with their kitchen, and love having people over to entertain in. Guests can’t believe it’s the same space either. This was a true transformation that everyone is proud of.

“Friends and guests have been blown away by the transformation of our place. It’s a completely different condo, a home that we are immensely proud of, a space that we thoroughly enjoy being in. And we have everyone at Canadian Renovations to thank for that. Canadian Renovations will be the first people we contact for any future projects.”
